Pina Colada

Recipe for a classic Pina Colada made with Puerto Rican rum and fresh pineapple juice.

Ingredients

2 ounces golden Puerto Rican rum
3 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice

Instructions

Blend in an electric blender with 1 scoop or shaved or chopped ice for 10 to 20 seconds (or a bit longer if you have a less powerful blender).  Pour over ice cubes in a tall 10-ounce glass.  Serve with a straw.  Garnish with a slice of pineapple.

Serving glass: Tall glass 10 ounce
