Ingredients

1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, fat removed and thinly sliced
1 cup San-J Asian BBQ Sauce
1 large ripe tomato, cut into eighths
8 cups steamed white rice

Instructions

In a large skillet or sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the onion, pepper and garlic and sauté until soft and the onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.

Add the sirloin steak slices and cook until browned. Drain off any excess liquid.

Add the San-J Asian BBQ Sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add the tomato and simmer for 2 minutes. Serve over the steamed rice.
