Dried sage which has been roughly ground then put through a sieve to produce a soft "cotton like" texture. Use in any recipe that calls for sage.

Substitute for sage, rubbed

For 1 teaspoon rubbed sage substitute 1 teaspoon dried sage or 3/4 teaspoon ground sage OR 1 tablespoon fresh sage

Equivalents
