Ratatouille


[Rat-a-too-ee] From France’s Nice, ratatouille is a vegetable dish made with eggplant, tomatoes, onions, zucchini, garlic, bell peppers and various herbs.  This is a classic provencial French dish but became well known in the non-culinary world by the Pixar annimation.  In reality the dish was born as a use for the abundant summer vegetables. The dish can be served as a side dish or appetizer.
