Piccalilli relish

Other names: Indian pickle

A sweet, spicy pickle relish that typically includes tomatoes, sweet peppers, onions, cucumber or other garden vegetables. It gets its bright yellow color from turmeric or sometimes mustard. The term first appeared in the 18th century.
