Peppermint oil

Oil extracted from fresh peppermint leaves. Peppermint oil is very potent so only a small amount is used for a lot of flavor. Use in desserts and drinks. Peppermint oil is used as an herbal remedy as well.

Substitute for peppermint oil

Substitute peppermint extract at an approximate ration of 4 to 1. Start with 2 parts, taste or smell, then add more if needed. Some extacts are concentrated, read bottle instructions.
