Substitute for onion salt

1/2 tsp onion powder with 1/2 teaspoon salt OR 1 tablespoon onion flakes with salt to taste OR 1/2 cup chopped fresh yellow or white onion

Equivalents

1 oz.   =   2 1/2 tbsp.
