Muscat grapes

Muscat grapes are grown world-wide as both a table grape and a wine grape.  As at table grape the distinctive flavor pairs well with spicy meats like Toscano salami and prosciutto.

Muscat wines tend to be quite sweet.  Black Muscat wine from the Novitiate in Los Gatos, California is a wonderful summer aperitif or sipping wine.
