Korean radish

Other names: Tae Baek

A large (about 6" long) green-tipped Korean radish used in kimchee, salads and other dishes. The radish has a firm crunchy texture. This radish is also found in other Asian countries such as China and Thailand. Look for it in Asian grocery stores or buy seeds online and grow your own.

California citizens will be voting on an initiative that would require food manufactures to label foods that contain GMO ingredients.  It is assumed if this is passed that other states or the Federal Government may enact labeling laws for GMO foods. 

GMO have been used in foods for about 30 years.  Studies shows that GMO foods cause illness in farm animals, cause low birth rates and animals fed a GMO diet show constant signs of agitation.  Some manufacturers already show if their products are non-GMO.   Are you concerned?
