Chestnut puree


Chestnut puree is made from cooked, mashed chestnuts. The sweetened version is typically sweetened with sugar or honey and is the key ingredient for a traditional "pudding". Unsweetened chestnut puree is also available and can be used in savory as well as sweet recipes.
