Canola oil


Canola oil is made from rapeseed which produces a very neutral flavored oil which makes it good for salad dressings or cooking. Refined canola oil has a smoke point of about 400 degrees with makes if suitable for frying. Most canola oil is produced in Canada where it is the most common cooking oil. Some other benefits of the oil include the fact it is low in saturated fats and contains Omega-3 fatty acids which help to lower triglycerides in the blood.
