Buddha's hand citron

Other names: Buddha's fingers citron

A very strange looking citron grown for centuries in China. This odd fruit is comprised primarily rind and is used as a flavoring as well as an ingredient in some air freshener products. The citron is grown in Florida and California so it is not quite as rare in the U.S. as it used to be.
