Arame


A mild flavored sea vegetable rich in calcium, iodine and potassium. To use, simmer with tamari, lemon juice and rice wine until tender and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve as a side dish with fish or with grains and beans for a vegetarian option. Soaked arame can be added to stir-fry dishes.
