Agar Wood

Other names: aquillaria agallocha, oud kameira

An aromatic wood used in Asian incense but also has a culinary use.  According to author Paual Wolfert (who refers to it as aga wood) the ingredient is used in the Moroccan spice mixture ras-el-hanout.  The wood is better known for its medicinal uses.
