Achar


A pickled or salted Indian relish with varying ingredients ranging from sweet to hot. A typical example is mango pickle (aam ka mitha achar) made with green mango, cardamom, cumin and chile powder.  Additionally the pickle may include large pieces of vegetable or fruit or the mixture may be thickened and blended.
