How To Submit An Ingredient Substitution

GourmetSleuth provides a comprehensive culinary dictionary that includes substitutions for specific ingredients.  Perhaps you've tried a substitution and loved (or maybe not loved it) and you'd like to contribute your own or leave a helpful comment.

To Contribute A Substitution:

  • Click on the Dictionary Link
  • Either search for the item OR find it using the alphabetical links
  • Click on the Comment/Suggest Substitutions tab
  • Add your suggestion.  ** This feature is for members so you will have to log-in first.
  • GourmetSleuth will add valid suggestions to the main ingredient page.
